So many homeless are hidden from view, we know numbers but we do not know faces. These are the families, children, women and men that we do not see. The children that still get to school but do not go to a home afterwards. The hidden society of homeless people. People working, attending classes, walking around like everyone else, but when some people go home others do not. Their day ends in a shelter, in a tent or a box. Their day ends with the stereotypical homelessness.
We see the man with the tattered coat digging through garbage, pan handling, or asking for smoke but what if we saw more?
If we could see it all, it would be much harder to ignore!
